No frost this morning. Been in the low 40's with occasional light sprinkle. Forecast is to go from 50's and high 40's and a low of 30 dropping down to low of 20 and high in the 30's. Even a chance of some precipitation. Both light rain and snow.

62 here. We MIGHT get 2" of snow Wednesday evening. A high of 34 Wednesday and a high of 22 on Thursday with a low of 2. Then back up to 49 on Tuesday. The high of 22 on Thursday with a low of 2 Thursday night will be hard to take. We aren't used to cold temperatures. 
The stores that have stocked winter gear are hurting. There racks of winter boots, coats for all sizes at Walmart on sale.

Got a very much needed rain.1.25 inches from 4am Saturday morning until about 12 noon.The day started out at 50 degrees and high was a little over 70.There just might be some wheat made here and there.

It is cooling down here. Freeze watch in place. The weather forecast is threatening this area with soggy snowflakes.
But the positive side of this is, its still a good 20-30 degrees warmer here than in some places.

Getting a blizzard here today, The wind is crazy the snow to start in a bit.

It is 22 with a light skiff of snow. Here it is February 17 and only the third snow all winter. The other 2 did make it to the end of the day. Clear sky and the sun coming out I think this snow will be gone by afternoon.

We are to have a change in our weather this evening. It looks owly this morning. Blizzard conditions tomorrow, 1-4" of snow. We will take it. Will warm back up to 56 by Monday.

Some white stuff must have fallen late last night/early morning. Things are frozen this morning with

It is 17 degrees this morning with a nice breeze. Just enough breeze to make me wonder if long johns would have been a good idea. Two new calves this morning. Stupid cows couldn't have had them a couple days ago when it got up to 50 degrees. Oh well, they are both dry and happy looking this morning.

It did get above zero. Was pretty nice, actually. This morning the sky is overcast and 16 degrees. It will get warmer as the week goes on. The weather pattern this winter has followed, warm, cold for a day or two, warm again, cold again. I heard that we have only had one week of winter if you count the days it has been cold. Not much moisture, tho, sadly.

It seems like freezing weather has its own way of drying things out.
The perfect weather, I think, is a 1/4" to 1/2" of rain at night, and sunny, moderately warm days.

Our normal precipitation is about 12 inches per year. The mountains get more in the winter which comes off as spring run off that gets collected in reservoirs. That water gets metered off during the growing season to be used for irrigation.

Lots of rain here. Since Thursday last week there has been about 4". So far for February the rainfall amount is
close to 7". Definitely have puddles here and they are beginning to merge.
Some wind, 15-25 mph, but not steady.
