How warm is it in your area?

Yikes, we would think we needed an ark! What is normal for Feb?
6-7 inches would be close to normal. Most times it isn't so much the amount for the month, as how rapidly it falls.
The ground here is definitely saturated. So much of it becomes run off. The snow packs must be really nice, when you have them, with the gradual release of the water. Thats why it seems so strange on the coast to have drought conditions after getting so much rainfall.

My horse is shedding heavily. If memory serves me correctly there's a good chance of another 6-8 weeks
wintery weather. 🤔 🤷‍♀️

What little snow the Coastal Range got is/did disappear quickly. I passed through the Coquille Valley Wednesday,
they are expecting some additional flooding, in some areas it will get a bit above flood stage. Hopefully
everyone got their cattle moved to higher ground.

I went to the sale in Vale today. Coming out of Ontario it was pouring down rain and blowing up a gale. A ton of trucks on the freeway making enough road spray to blind you. I had picked up two hotdogs at Loves in Ontario. Ate one driving out of the parking lot. The second one had to wait until I got off the freeway 50 miles later.

Cold and rainy here. The ground is saturated to the max. Very unusual for this area, once known as the Banana Belt of the Northwest. No Dole nanas this year. Overcast and fairly constant day to night temps all winter. One very light dusting of snow. I have seen more white from pollen falling. No ice as any freezing temp came on dry days. Very untypical March with very light winds and almost daily rain,

Early pastures look great and cattle seem to be enjoying a March without wind. The month is young, so stay tuned.
