72 degrees here! That is warmer than where our friends live in OK!!! It is windy and warm some places, we don't have any wind at present.

54 here today. Why go on a vacation to a south sea island when you can just sit in the sun in eastern Oregon. The stores are sold out of sun block.

Got about 3/4" to an 1" of rain last week. Then it went back to frosty nights and sunny days.

I remember one year in the 1980's that I was breaking up a old hay field in February.
This is shaping up for another dry year with poor water supply for the cows,

Warm and wet predicted here. We will take that!
However, I have never found the Old Farmers Almanac to be very good at long range
weather predictions. Let's visit this page again in say, September and see.

That being said, they predicted what has happened this winter right on target with the weather here. SW Wy snow pack is the best in the state, so they got that right, too. I may have to eat my words!

One of those Pacific storms finally drifted over this area. Got about 1 1/2 to 2 inches of rain over the weekend, with a light wind. Cleared off last night and is clear and sunny this morning. Probably mid to upper 50's so far.

We got maybe a quarter inch yesterday. More important it looks like it snowed above about 5,000 feet and there is more snow forecast for next weekend. We might have irrigation yet.

Still nothing registering at the snotel sight, one of the nieghbors drove up a long ways .

We had a dusting of show in the night last night. Back up in the 50's and 60's for the rest of the week. This is unreal.
My concern now is that heavy snow will come during calving...

Talked to a friend today at the sale. They drove up to Little Lookout Mt and across the ridge to where Manning Creek Rd drops over to Richland in a SxS. Ran into an inch of snow in a couple places. Should be 3 or 4 feet of snow up there this time of the year. Nicky's friend's place and I bet K was in the passenger seat.

It was 56 here today and 68 yesterday.

+6 here today. Too warm, but only by a few degrees. I don’t like the water laying around on top of the ice. But according to the forecast we won’t have to worry about that again for quite some time. Seems like it can’t just settle into a nice even comfortable pattern.

The fluctuating temperatures are so hard on cattle.

Clouds moved in this morning, no rain yet, supposed to get rain tomorrow. Cold wind.

I guess summer is over for a few days, and it is back to winter.
