We were supposed to get a bunch of rain from TS Barry last week but only got an inch or two. We are a tropical climate and the fires this year have been horrible with no rain. Hope everyone up north stays safe in these storms.

I had a Hard Twist gelding who was exactly the same way. He was a bronc though and put me out of commision for about 10 weeks. If you could get him past that he was a dream to ride. I have 3 younger children and lots of horses to take care of so I passed him on, though I still miss him.

I hate spending big money on saddles, but I have gotten an association saddle from corriente saddle makers. They fit good and run a really reasonable price. They are a mom and pop operation and make their own saddles and are really good quality for the price. Not the usual junk for the price...

I read somewhere that 20 of the 24 horses were actually the owners and 4 belonged to boarders. I feel bad for these horses as I also read they were in a lot of pain. We cant store feed down here as it goes bad too fast because of the humidity. Are weavils a big problem in Texas?
