NRC is the nutrition BIBLE. It is what nutritionist (well, most of them)
base their information on. And NRC is lowering the phos requirement
of cattle.

loomixguy, I thought it was adding PHOS that made the loomix
bitter. And I bet BMR thought the same thing.

This is a study I got in the mail this morning. That being said I do believe that there are big difference between areas...............let alone pastures. I have diferent minerals that I use for different pastures. Some pastures I want more copper, some with hardly any salt, selenium requirements vary, iodine requirements vary,maybe you want CTC or Altasoid.
My mineral man stopped by today and we talked about all this. My conclusion on it all is that the same mineral for all is not gonna work. If what you are doing is working there is no way anyone can dispute your usage.
Oh and another thing that I know can happen is that companyies will put flavor to enhance usage. So the deal if they need it they will eat it and if they don't need it they won't is thrown out the window in some cases.
