Got one of them "old" JD 2020s (w/47 loader)myself. I consider it the work horse of the place. Use it more than the big, new fancy ones. In some cases, Old is definitely good.

That is a 143 loader and yes the old 2020 gets more cranked many times more than the new 6300.

Then what do you do with all that snapped corn?

( From the land of hay, barley and early frosts)

We grind it in a JD feed grinder and feed it to the bull calves. I will try to get some pictures of the grinding when we grind the next batch. One wagon heaped full will make one grinder full.

Well I be dog gone. Do you mean to tell me that there is a market for Maypops? I have been spraying them things for years trying to get rid of them. As well as my land grows maypops, I need to get in the maypop business.
How do you harvest them things?
Who buys them?
What sort of price will they bring?

Those pictures were taken in August and it was 95 with high humidity. HOT.
it is still in the 80s here and we are cutting our last cutting of hay. I cut yesterday and will cut a little mor this evening. I hope to roll some about Sunday and Monday. Still in shorts.

That old snapper is a pain. Everthing is warn out on it and you pick a whill and work on it a while. I would like to have a newer two row snapper but I don't think they make them any more.
