I see them selling farmer's dog food but there is the things ranchers dogs eat.
It is at least a quarter mile out to the feed row and over half a mile to the far end of the field. I noticed the dogs going through the gate out to the field. The wife had an elderly lady coming over for coffee. We saw the lady turn down the driveway. Wife looks out the front door and shouts, oh no Rufus (her dog). Rufus had drug up a good fresh after birth and deposited it on the sidewalk. Wife ran out to the garage and garbed a pitchfork. She had the afterbirth around the house and out of sight before the old lady got to the house. I am sure Rufus was looking forward to several healthy meals.
