Liquid feeds, Good or Bad?

Loomix works well in certain timed situations. I believe it is a good product, if you can justify the cost for your particular situations. The one thing that enters my mind often is: am I getting what a pay for. How accurate is that measuring stick. If the delivery man is off 1/2 inch on every tank that could add up. When they leave their place of business they know how many lbs. they have on. When they get back after delivery, every lbs gone from that tank would be charged out whether it was spilled, or one customer shorted by the measuring stick and another customer got a extra favorably reading on the measuring stick. Yes, there is spillage I have seen it and I know someone is paying for it.

Yep-- that was one of the problems I had when I used it - the dealer, truckdriver.....I had one that was really good- got everything mixed great- but then he got another job and the next guy had it mixed too sweet and it was all sucked up in a few days- or when you complained on that- had it soured up so much they wouldn't touch it....
And about the time you got a new dealer/truck driver trained- he'd have another job somewhere else and you had a new guy and and you had to start all over again....
Too Frustrating for me......

Without arguing to much, you didn't ease my concerns. The cement is weighed and the gas and propane metered. It's just not very reassuring when they pull out that dipstick and measure that leaning tank. Hopefully, with the averages I get a good measurement. I believe my Loomix dealer is honest, he tells me it is accurate also. Yes, I do pay the bill accurate or not. If dealer comes up short he just raises the rates. He never takes it the shorts. To ease your concerns, I will keep using it when I need to.

We were all born naked, too. I expect most of us wear clothes, even Kola, I'd imagine.................but only Jigs would know for sure!

Cows were put on earth to forage. Sounds like a feed dealer is bending your ear.
Most loomix dealers are good salesman. You must not know one yet.
I always thought I was a hard sell, but I have a friend who would never have fed it, well guess what he is using it. But believe me, if I feel the cows do not need it, then I don't give it to them. But there are times and situations like drought or grazing on all dried up grasses out in the middle of nowhere or feeding straw that I have used it. Let the Loomix guy bounce his truck out there and check your cows.

I always wonder about the people who feel everyone is cheating.

I bend over backwards to make sure no customer ever gets cheated - - - if there is ever a question we make an adjustment in the customers favor. That is the reason we have contractors call and say put 600 tons at so & so location and when we send a bill they know they got what was billed for. We have customers who say we need enough to fill a 60' X 100' barn 6" deep. That is 6,000 Sq Ft and at 6" deep is 3,000 Cu Ft or 111.11 Cu Yd. If they want Crushed Stone to park on it weighs Apx. 2,500# per Cu Yd so they would need Apx 138 tons ( depending on how level it was before they started and how level they put the finished product.) If they need engineering fill to pour concrete over it weighs Apx 3,800# per Cu Yd or about 211 tons.

If it is someone who used a good transit and does quality work I would send about 140 tons. However if it is a "Handy man" who works by eye it might take 200 tons to give a good end result. That is not my fault unless I was hired to do the entire job.

If your tank is not on level ground you must take at least partial responcibility for that. If it is measured in the middle it should still be accurate and if you don't trust that level your tank!

I guess I have to be greatful I just trust untill someone proves they cannot be trusted ( a couple of brother-in-laws come to mind) and once you have betrayed my trust it would take a long uphill climb to get back in my good graces.

Gee whizz George Settle down. I trust my Loomix dealer greatly, one heck of a great guy. Just voicing my concerns about a method. Sorry for miss leading you.
