You know the deal. If you want one, you've got to break the colt or pay someone to do it. Just like I do! :P

great looking colts. I took a liking to the bay with just a touch of white one the forehead. Nothing to be ashamed of there, hope they turn out to be great mounts.

Nice looking colts JB,only thing nicer would be added colour from say a Paint stud

Also if cutebabymaker is the ma ma of your grandboy, don't you think the least you owe her is a colt

JB have you ever tried just leaving them on the mare and letting them wean them-I've done it a few times it works pretty good. There's going to be some good using horses in that bunch I'm thinking. Now if that border was open I could bring some grass raised bulls down for trading stock. I had some red angus bulls I sold in Sturgis running not too far from you years back. I'll never forget the first sale-my bulls sold but not for a whole lot-anyway I found the old guy who bought them and shook his hand. He told me 'I've never been congratulated for stealing a man's cattle before' lol.

Jinglebob - I have to agree with Mrs Greg  Pick of the pen for your grandson's Mom I say! As for the grandson .... you buy a paint baby from Mrs Greg now and it'll be a nice horse for when he's ready to hit the trail with Gramdpa.

Jinglebob, Which one do you like the best? It's hard to tell from pictures at that age, but I tend to like the brown with the wide stripe. Although the bay with the fleck of white on the face looks good too. Are they both stud colts? In about five years you'll know for sure which one is best.

No colts for those who don't come ride and feed them.
And I already got a paint that my grandson will be able to ride. If he's still around when Gabe gets big enough!

JF my favorite is the chesnut. His mama was a sweetheart and his sister is so sweet , that that is what we call her. Sweety.

There ain't nuthin' wrong with the bay and bay's and duns are my favorite colors, so he just might be my favorite in a few years.

As for the wire cut on the yearlin'. Yup. it's almost healed.

The chesnut and his mom got in the wire and the colt is pretty well healed up and mama isn't far behind.

The father of the chesnut got sold to a feller last year after we pulled him out of the mares and cut him(one didn't get bred). He wants this colt and I priced him high and finally just called him last night and told him where to get some bred like him and that I really didn't want to sell him. I think I talked him out of buying this one.

Oh well, I been horse poor most of my life.

I ain't raisin' these to sell, I just want some good saddle horses with a lott'a "cow" in them. :D

Nice try S.S.A P,we don't anywhere near raise the Paints you do,post your website and let all see your horses...those are beauties. :)

You got that right SSSAP's stud is a good looking pony even if he is spotted-sounds like we'll be heading your way to highschool rodeo in the spring-I'm going to try and grab a couple extra days and bring the family to see the Cypress hills.
