Same with me. It was a hopping place for many years. Then FB became more popular. I think Big Muddy Rancher and myself were the only ones posting here for quite some time. You might say, we kept it going. It's good there are others posting here now. I know I appreciate them!!! I'll speak for BMR because I am sure he feels the same way.

I was just sorta drifting around in Google looking for a ranching forum and stumbled onto Ranchers.
Read some of the threads, people here seemed to be of sound minds with a lot of hands on experience.

Yes, I think I joined in 2004 and you all had been here for awhile

I learned of the site from being om CT. I registered but couldn't post for some reason. So I just read and learned for a number of years. I didn't take the time to figure out the posting problem until after I retired in 2017.

I first joined about 2004 or so, but never posted. I forgot about it until maybe 2019 when I was researching internet sites where cowboy poetry could be shared.

I had to join again because I couldn't remember my password and my old email was lost in space.

Don't remember how I found it. Started out as Maple Leaf Angus, dropped out for a while then came back as burnt. Wasn't active for a while then couldn't get back in.

So now I'm back but have really know idea who I am anymore. But I identify as Canadian.

What have you been up to?

Well, still on the farm growing a bit of crop here in the east, trying to pass it along to the next generation but this certainly has its challenges. Haven't owned cows for a few years but still graze pairs for a young chap every summer.
I do a bit of writing for a farm paper and mostly try to keep our grandkids in line - favorite job ever!
