Have you ever heard this song on country radio? I think it's by Billy Kerrington. It reminds me of all of you! God is great, I could do without beer.....that's another story. But you people are crazy amazing! Thank you all for all the encouragement you give us and eachother. Thank you for your prayers on our behalf and eachother. Thank you for your generousity. You never cease to amaze me. It gives a person hope for the future of our kids and this country to know people like you! My heart and eyes are full to overflowing every time I get on this site. Thank you, thank you!

very good song....has a neat story to it. i think it should be God is great, beer is great, people are crazy. the only thing that would make that song better is if someone else sang it.

Hmmm haven't heard it, but I tend to agree, most on here are a lil crazy, includin myself, but when ya need a prayer everyone is right there for ya. That's what makes this such a nice place to spend time.

Plus we get to see all the pictures :D

I guess I opened a can of worms with the beer comment! Let me explain. I have a very wise dad. When I was 3 he let me taste his beer. I thought it was so disgusting that I ran and hid under the table and wouldn't come out. To this day I can't even stand the smell. It sure put a damper in the fun I could have had in my teen years. I think that was the idea!

I agree, would be a better song if someone else sang it. That kid is sure not my favorite. Ah well, to each his own.

And who else should sing it?

I think the right guy is singing it! 8)
The right voice, the right melody, right tempo. I don't think anyone else would have had the success that song is havin' right now.
And the video is great, too!

i think that there are some others that would have had success with that song. i saw this guy interviewed a couple times.....he's a little different, or a lot different. now if you are a big billy fan, don't get all worked up. i just don't like the guy.
george strait could have sung the hell out of this song, but there are others to.

I think we need a little more information.    Saw George in Cheyenne a few weeks ago. Nobody can hold a candle to his class act. Maybe not the most thrilling and exciting concert ever, but it doesn't have to be if you're listening to some of the best country music ever made by one of the coolest singers in country music.

I'd prefer to hear lots of people sing over Billy Currington. He's just not my type of fellow and I don't care for his voice much. Just my preference, that's all.

Now, how about sharing some additonal details there, Katrina??

We saw george at CFD the last time he was there.. They said there was twenty-five thousand there for his concert... It was jammed packed, but I didn't think that many......... Just think of six women one motel room, rain, mud and garbage sacks. And the rest you kinda had to be there to appreciate it.....
Anyways just teasin ya a little, I like all singers some more than others..

So, katrina, you still left us hanging....... :P

We saw Randy Travis in Concert at Spearfish on the 4th of
July weekend. He was fantastic. He looked great, had a beautiful
Mexican type jacket on with big conchos. So nice to watch
someone that cares about how he presents himself, instead of the
guys that need a shave and a haircut. Anyway, he sang lots of his
good songs, told some very clean and funny jokes. We enjoyed
it a lot.

We saw George Strait at Dillion when he was just getting started.
A friend of ours is a friend of Hank Williams Jr. George kept turning
his back to the audience (what woman wouldn't appreciate that!!!! )
but our friend asked Hank Williams why George did that so much and
Hank said "it's cause he's so darn shy." I think he got over the shyness...

Best concert I ever attended was Dan Seals in Broadus, Mt. We had
to take our own chairs. It was super good. Rest in peace, Dan Seals.
