The enjoyment I get from seeing y'all post pictures of the country side where you live inspired me to post a few Arkansas pictures as I come across them.
This is a picture my sister in law sent depicting the most photographed spot in Arkansas she said.
Hawks Bill Craig
The second is a picture from a couple days ago on lease ground I have.

RR, that is some beautiful country. Thank you sir for posting them. I have friends in southern Missouri who keep inviting me out to hunt deer. But fall is just so busy I haven't ever taken them up on their offer. I'd sure like to wander through that country someday. Thanks again!!!

Center point trail on the Buffalo river. We have a little air B and B snd these two couples stayed with us and hiked there sent us the picture. The second picture is of another lease place that I have. It has a hundred gallon per minute spring and a big spring tank . I re-stuccoed the tank 15 years ago. Water had undermined it and age had cracked it. If I remember correctly it took 3000 lbs of sand alone plus Portland to fix it. I can't imagine hauling in concrete on a wagon and mixing in a box. It'd take a month ( an Arkansas exaggeration for emphasis) if several people working to build it. It's from the middle 1800s. The spring is one of two that I run than never has gone dry.
