My guess is the lady knows full well by now just how foolish she was to make such a statement! And so do most on this website, apparently.

MRJ-what lady? It was a news release that AMI put out. I was the one that posted it, not a foolish lady. Don't know where the lady comes in at.
Reading glasses help some people.

Rancher, Again, I was aware of that. Does any of that change the fact that it was a lady making the comment? The fact that she is high up or heads AMI does not make it any less foolish of her to make such a comment, IMO. She may be a very intelligent lady. Even they can make the occasional foolish comment.

You said a lady posted it on this web site, I corrected you. The fact she is high up in the AMI makes the statement that AMI doesn't look out for the producer like you say they do. We are raping the housewife and her kids according to AMI. Maybe they could ask for a bit less for their product to help out with the welfare plan.

And just where and when did I say that "AMI looks out for the producer"? It would have to be an error, or posted when I was very much out of it because I've never thought that was the function of AMI. Why do we expect others in other related businesses to "look out for the cattle producer? We don't waste any time looking out for them unless there is something in it for us, do we? On the other hand, neither do I believe we should allow anyone to run roughshodover us.
