Well Doggone It !!!!

Wolf Tariff
Any State or Country legally transporting a Wolf or Wolves into another State or Country must pay the recipient State or Country, in advance, $100,000.00 per wolf.

Maybe that would slow up this monkey business.

This isn't the first time. USA paid Canada $2500 per wolf that was brought in several years ago.
I always said Canadians were laughing their a$$es off over that.

This wolf tariff is fictitious. Was just trying to think up a way to stop transporting/relocating wolves. Unless of course they are to be dropped off in urban areas, like Portland.

And everyone just keeps their mouth shut.

They sent 10 wolves from Oregon last year. They were supposed to be from packs with no history of attacking livestock. Well 9 of the ten came from pack with a history of attacking livestock. At the rate which elk and deer are disappearing a few more years and livestock will be the only thing left for them to feed on.

I had been curious about what impact they were having on the elk and mule deer herds.

It appears some of the wolves that get relocated may try to find their way back to their home country,
which basically could lead to the introduction of wolves into areas in between their capture area and
their release site.

There is plenty of information on the ones released on the upper Clearwater in Idaho. The elk herd is now about 10% of what it was prior to the wolves being released. A neighbor of mine took 20 years to draw a elk tag in a special trophy unit northwest of La Grande. Hunted for a week. Never saw an elk track. Elk hair in wolf poop was the closest thing to an elk he found.

A bunch of educated idiots in charge of wildlife in every state.
