    Nebraska Property Valuation Protest

    On an average my assessed valuation went up over 30%. This is on hilly and rocky land that is designed for grazeing only. They didn`t consider land use, only soil type. There will be a land evaluation meeting in Pierre later this summer

    Sure to bad about Jeff Willert. Chad Ferley`s have a tough start too. But last night`s bareback rideing had a real thrill too.     Maybe the BLM should have high school ag classes tell them which grasses and grass types are favorable. It really baffles me how those managers in that type of role know so little. Another prime example of education without common sense.

    We had a nice one too. Very little run water, due to open ground all winter. But we needed all that soaking down too. Kept track this year so far with 4.2 inches of precip. That`s with estimateing the amount of water in the snow according to what they had in Mobridge. But the water situation...

    This is the first year in at least the past 10 we haven`t heard of any sightings. The SDGFP have always down played the amount of cats out there.
