havent named her yet...just thought she was a pretty unique calf. of course she was born during the first ice storm down here in my lifetime...

this calf was born at the farm...notice the white on her head.

it was hunting and calving season down here...not much time to do anything during the winter... now we are dealing with ice storms, which ive never seen in my life. i feel sorry for the northerners who have to deal with that all the time.

i dont know of anyone on that side of the state that runs cows that would have enough room for that trailer. Im about 2 hours west of hammond

yep we got 2 inches of rain sunday. getting another storm right now. I had to smoke all the cigars to keep the mosquitos from eating me up. just cuz its winter dont mean them things wont come out down here.

My corrientes are finally calving. of course they decided to calf when its 26 degrees in south louisiana. :shock: i know its not much to most of yall, but this is the first calf actually born at my home. Kinda makes me feel proud to be able to do the things i do.

ive been having people stop at the house everyday to come pick pecans this year. i guess having 30 tress within 50 yards of the road doesnt help.

i put mine on a walker about 6 am. then at 6pm i put them on a lunge line. by 9pm i can start riding them. :oops:

Tuf aint that bad of a guy. Ive been knowing him for years. When i went to Vegas to hang out with Shane, me shane and the coopers went to rodeo vegas together. To be honest with you, Tuf is one of the most down to earth ropers i know. If you really want to know who the real jackleg in...

i really hate to say this...but im goin with the barrel racer :???: :???: .... so i will have to do all the shopping stuff with them. But im the same way, im only going for the NFR, i dont gamble (unless its booray with quarters) so im sure we will just see the sights and do all the touristy stuff

im flyin out saturday morning from New Orleans for Vegas. Ill be there for the 3rd 4th and 5th rounds.

well id consider myself more of a farmer than a rancher. we have over 500 acres of rice, soybeans, milo, corn and wheat. Whereas we only have 200 acres for cattle.
