(Please note that at no time is anyone told that they MUST worship God.)

So which one specify's the God has to be "The" Christian God... Many religions seem to recognize the same God (Christian, Jewish, Muslim, ) but then don't follow all other beliefs of traditions and prophets..

So it won't matter if the "inclusive God" is included in Government then, will it?

You and your atheist friends like to fight the inclusion of God, whenever he comes up, except when claiming that you are Christian will garner you votes.

funny thing is, if a President acts Muslim and was raised a Muslim, you are racist for saying or thinking so. But I guss it's okay to be a bigot, just as long as you don't think differently than a Democrat.

I have never claimed to be a Christian. (what is your source in claiming such?")

But that does not mean I will not stand up for Christians against your chosen cult's bigotry and extremism against them.

And your religious beliefs and honesty are an example to all, that's for sure.

"Your God" had something to say about "bearing false witness", didn't he/she?

Definitely not an atheist- nor do I have any friends that are atheists...All believe in their God....

So if you are not a Christian- what faith are you?

Do you not believe in a God? Do you not believe that your God and my God could be the same?

agnostic, but that does not mean that I am not more honest than you.

I fairly sure your God would not be pleased with the lies and false accusations that you spew.

But that's between you and him,.

Oh, and I'll bring it up from time to time too.

Why don't you follow your God's teachings, if you believe in him so adamantly?

Being a little our of commission with a badly sprained foot, injured tendon, I must be a little bored, so checked this forum for first time in months.
I'm shocking myself in more or less defending someone who has been less than polite and generous to me in the past.
While none of us can truly know the heart of another, I have to say the One and Only God of my Christian faith has set some rules we would all benefit from following, BUT his only Son, Jesus Christ is the only person who has been able to follow the rules perfectly.

In other words, Christians who are followers of Luther (and probably others, but Luthers' teachings and the Bible are what I understand best, though not perfectly) know that they cannot be 'perfect' Christians, but that we will be forgiven our sins if we truly repent.

mrj BTW, Soapweed, thanks very much for sharing that information with us. That will be printed and shared, as well as emailed to many by many of us, I'm sure. It would be easy enough to look up for our own state, but putting them all together is a great time saver.

While I am no expert... the LDS or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christian,...

an interesting question.. but I do not think we are on the same page...

Quote:

to fully believe in Judea, the Jewish faith and teachings, you could not believe in the ""The" Christian God"

to believe in Islam, the muslim faith and muslim teachings, you could not believe in the ""The" Christian God"

one has to actually believe in the Christian faith teachings and be a Christian to follow ""The" Christian God"

While as Christians we can and should believe and understand the old testament and strive to follow the GOD of Abraham's laws and teachings,.. we should be Leary of and not follow the muslim teachings that conflict with Christian or Jewish teachings.. (which is about the whole book)

so could it really be the same ""The" Christian GOD"?,.. NO,..

as the rest do not believe in ""The" Christian GOD"
and we do not believe in the teachings of Islam..

to say it is the same god would mean you do not believe in your own faith and teachings..

in any observance of faith, two of the teachings would have to be wrong.. and are in direct conflict of the other two..

Jews, muslims and christians all believe in the same God.The only real difference is that christians believe Jesus was God became a man.The main battle is over whitchreligion has the power and authority of God.I dont think mormanns are christians but that doesnt make them bad people.
