I mentioned this book earlier, and I'm so enjoying reading it. It connects one of my grade-school teachers that
I loved and admired, to a person in the book. I've been doing a bit of easy research and what I am finding is
very interesting, to me at least. There's definitely some Wyoming history in the book and they way they ranched and
handled their cattle, I can really identify with. The country where their ranch is located is pretty rough and not an
easy climate. They had to endure a lot in order for the ranch to survive. They were cowboys and cowgirls for sure;
and I admire them to stick it out through some bad years. Weather, politics, the up and down of the cattle and sheep
market make it tough sledding. They are survivors and enjoyed their life along the way. (I'm not quite done with the
book yet, hopefully I'll finish it today. It's hard to put it down.)
