Any of Yawl Ever Lick a Salt Block?

I must warn you that confessing to such, will not look good on future resumes. Being old and retired, with an already tarnished resume, I confess to sampling plain salt, iodized, sulfured, and mineral laced, as a young child. It wasn't from boredom, but curiosity that led to such behavior.

Footnotes: I always licked the part of the block that didn't have cow spit on it. I didn't let rumors of it being covered with bug poo, discourage me either.

Who hasn't licked a salt block if they ever lived on, or visited a ranch for any length of time?

Even way out west in the land of wind and rain, kids lick salt blocks. You take a rock and bust off a piece to take with you. You rub the salt on an apple. And speaking of apples, I spent time at the water trough with the horse, taking turns bobbing for apples.
