Uncle Jessie's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients: Four sticks of butter, two large eggs, two cups of light brown sugar, two cups of white sugar, two teaspoons of vanilla extract, five cups of self rising flour, sixteen oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips, two cups chopped pecans. Melt the butter and mix with the eggs, vanilla flavoring, lt. brn. sugar and white sugar. Gradually mix in the self rising flour, blend well. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for nine minutes at 350 degrees. Makes about ten dozen delicious cookies. Jessie Driggers, Rt. 1, Box 264, Glennville, GA 30427
