
German Apple Cake
5 apples peeled and sliced
5 Tbsp Sugar
2 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
3 cups all purpose flour
2 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
4 eggs beaten
1 cup oil
2 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup orange Juice
1 1/2 tsp soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup or more of chopped pecans
Mix apples with 5 tblespoons sugar and 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon. Set aside. Mix
together remaining ingredients. Grease and flour large Bundt pan. Mix Batter
mix and apple mixture together and pour into Bundt pan. Bake 1 hour 15 minutes.
Let cool completely before removing from pan. A delicious cake that does not
need icing.
