ORTEGA FIESTA BAKE (VERY GOOD!)

1 LB. GROUND BEEF
1 PKG TACO SEASONING
3/4 CUP SALSA
1 CUP WHOLE KERNEL CORN
1 CUP SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE
1 CUP CHOPPED ONION
1/4 CUP WATER
1/2 CUP SLICED RIPE OLIVES
1 PKG CORNBREAD MIX, PREPARED
1/2 CUP DICED GREEN CHILES

COOK GROUND BEEF AND ONION UNTIL BEEF IS NO LONGER PINK, DRAIN. sTIR IN SALSA, TACO SEASONING AND WATER, BRING TO A BOIL. REDUCE HEAT AND COOK 5 MINUTES TO THICKEN. STIR IN CORN AND OLIVES. PUT INTO UNGREASED 8 INCH SQUARE BAKING DISH. STIR CHEESE AND CHILES INTO PREPARED CORNBREAD MIX UNTIL SMOOTH; SPREAD OVER MEAT MIXTURE. BAKE UNCOVERED AT 350 DEGREES FOR 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
