The pups have arrived, and hopefully the pics will post as I have been having trouble getting them to post.

Maybe someone else can help you get them on,Lillys really good at that! I use photo bucket,are you using photo gallery?

I have no idea what either one of those are, from what i understand, I can not use pictures right from my computer, I have to have them somewhere on the internet. Is that correct?

Like I said Lillys our picture expert,I'm not great at computer BUT if you go to Everything Else,on top Macon posted a thread on "How to post a picture"...Try that ....Crossing my fingers Very Happy

alright, i tried that, it told me that i exceeded my daily limit...funny thing is, i cant even get one to download to meet my daily limit..lol

I've never used it but I've heard complaints its tempermental,sorry,hopefully someone else can be of more help....wheres that darn Lilly when you need her. Very Happy

You have to be a Forum Member and be logged in...

1. Go to Photo Gallery and click on "Upload Photos".
2. Click on the first "Browse" button and find the photo file on your hard drive.
3. Enter Tilte and Description if you wish and click the "Upload/Submit" button.
4. Click on the thumbnail to see the larger picture. Right click in the UBBCode: box and choose "Select All". Copy the URL and come back here and Paste it where you want the photo to appear.

the photos you tried to post are on a yahoo group, and you hafta be a member there to be able to view them.
Also you can use www.photobucket.com here. if you don't want to use the photo gallery, I've never had much luck using the photo gallery, but I'm sure it's just that I never took the time to get used to it.
If none of this works, you can feel free to email me your picture and I'll upload it for you. PM me and I'll give ya my email addy.

I bet your problem might be that you are not taking the checkmark out of the "Disable BBCode in this post". Nothing happens if that is checked.

Also, I'm pretty sure you have to use photobucket. Just go to photobucket.com and register. Then you need to get your pictures in there to bring them here.

I certainly am no computer expert. Lilly had to tell me over and over, but I finally got it except for the "Disable" thing. Soapweed mentioned that. Lately I have had no problems. Just gotta follow the steps.

The steps for photo bucket have been removed, I can't find them, only the photo gallery instructions. Macon must have removed them or replaced them with these......

Anyone know where they went? They sure help get ya started with photo bucket.

I saved them, Lilly. So I will retype them here.

1. Make sure the picture is in a jpeg file.
2. Go to www.photobucket.com
3. Set up an account on photobucket. This is free.
4. Once you are set up you need to login.
5. After you login, you will see a bar that says picture and beside it a button that says browse. Click browse.
6. Go to the folder on your computer where you have your picture located. Click on the picture and then click the button that says open.
The window will close and you will be back at screen you saw in 4 above, only the path for the picture location will be in the bar.
7. Click the submit button.
8. Depending upon your connection speed this may take a moment. The picture will be uploaded to photobucket. Once complete it will say "Picture added."
9. Scroll down the page. You should see the picture. Underneath the picture you will see ULR, Tag, IMG. To the right of IMG, highlight everything in this box. All letters. Hold down the ctrl button on your computer and press the letter c. Let up both buttons.
10. Go to ranchers.net Bull Session.
11. Open the post you are creating. Place your cursor in the message body. Hold down the ctrl key and press the v key. Let both keys up. You should see something like this:

There will be the (img) in front of this and at the end of it.

12. After this, click the submit button at photobucket. As your message is posted you should see the picture.

(My note: be sure to get the checkmark out of Disable BBCCode.)
