a dog in my house
a warm house
a job to do and do well
a sunrise
a sunset
food--on demand
light, when it's dark
no pain
no danger (that's what the dog/light's for...!)
my children--that they're here, in one piece, and alive.
that "there, but for the grace of god, go I"...
does not apply.
that i'm here to make this list.
