An odd phenomenon. About a month ago, a hard wind knocked down this section of windbreak. I haven't taken the time to clean up the mess so it was just laying there on the ground. We put up a couple portable steel panels so the corral would still be usable. In the wee hours of Sunday morning, I heard the wind come up. As I was getting the horses in later that morning, the thought entered my mind, "Did someone fix the windbreak? If they did, why didn't they fix that one piece of tin?" Closer observation made me realize that the wind had tipped the windbreak back into its proper place. Confused Rolling Eyes Of course it still needs to be torn out and fixed correctly, but it got my attention for a moment. Smile

The other side

Riding the hills on a mighty mule

Pushing cattle around the pond to a new pasture across the highway

That black critter sure has short ears.

Cows and hills

He took our picture, so I took his. Smile

He is a nice gentleman from Fremont, Nebraska.

One of our local characters

Peach and her pony

A moderately marvelous mule and me

Bales on the meadow

A dratted deer fly

Our son's boat anchor system

Complete with a reel and crank

And here is his fishing chair on a swivel

I like Peach's summer hat better than her winter one Smile
