meet buster
he's a 3 year old gelding that i traded a kelpie pup for last winter
he was raised close to the house and is somewhat gentle and halter broke
i have saddled him 4 times now
normally i would be prowlin the country on one by now but as fh put he is complicated
he has 2 cowlicks in his forehead
and the one on the left side of his neck is close to his ears
on the left side i can show him somthing 1 or 2 times and he's got it
now on the right side it is farther down on his neck and it takes 5 or 6 times of showing him somthing new for him to accept it without a fight
and if you start a fight with him you should just plan on being there a while to work past it
today is the most relaxed he has been and i should have rode him but the dirt in my round pen is terrible so i'll have to haul him up to a freinds place to ride him a time or two
well here he is
