Well we made it back from my neices weddin. It was beautiful. I'm not usually one to pick favorites, but this is my favorite neice. I was present at her birth, so it was only appropriate that I be present at her weddin. She married a great young fella who's servin our country. They'll be movin to Italy ASAP...soon as paperwork is all done, for 3 years.
I took a whole bunch of pictures, and thought I'd share just a few. I've been workin on editing and such most of today, tryin to get them all done, so I can put them on a cd and send to them before they leave.

You may kiss the bride

The Happy Bride

You can have your cake, and eat it too

She's such a sweetie

Her nephew, a ring barrer, who had caught a itty bitty baby horny toad, and wasn't lettin it out of his sight....not even for the weddin pictures. So it was safe in his pocket.

My brother, dancin with his daughter.

The day before the weddin, we took a trip out to the Monahans Sandhills State Park. It's been years since we took the kids out there, Lil Lilly was real small and barely remembered the last trip. So they took to the hills, took a surf board, and a disk. Done some Dune Surfin. It was a fun day.

I've had so much fun editing, and puttin some things together with these pictures. Here's a couple of the collages I've done so far.
The place where they were married, has gardens and little wooden bird houses everywhere. I took a few shots of the birdhouses thinkin I might use them for somethin. Here's one I used LOL put the bride and her daddy inside the birdhouse, and the groom waitin outside for his dance LOL

Then I done another one, she's a Texan thru and thru. The groom's cake was the state of Texas with icing like the flag. So I put stars on this one. The background photo, was taken at the door of the "dollhouse" where she got dressed for the wedding.

Thanks Haymaker.....

Actually the weather was really nice while we were there. They'd been having 115 degree heat. Dry dry dry.....lots of grass fires. Both my brothers are on the volunteer fire dept. So they've spent alot of time out fightin fires this year. But we had highs in the mid to upper 80s and lows mid 60s while we were there, and the wind wasn't blowin bad at all. They've had 4 inches of rain a couple weeks before we got there, and stuff is almost as green there as it is here.
Was a nice surprise cuz I was expectin HOT.
