Can't get plate numbers, don't know who they are or who their parents are. Plus, we're not talking kids on dirt bikes, those go buy too but slowly Tthese are people probably in their early 20's on sport bikes.

FYI, I did go the "right"way about dealing with an ATV going through my fence, contacted the parents last fall, then recently had another problem and met with the Warden today.

SEEK HELP!!!!!!! You know I've found that if you have problems with alot of different people maybe there's a reason. I raise bucking horses across the road from a bunch of teenage boys with motorbikes-they're loud but it never crossed my mind to shoot at them. To proudly state that you did in a forum as public is this is well kind of beyond belief.

Does Ben specifically say that he shot at someone? All I can read is it says one is going to get knocked off. I think you people are assuming a little too much. Maybe I am wrong though...

NOW it doesn't...but when he first posted he stated that the took a shot as the last bike passed .

He's edited it as you can see on the post.

Prob a smart move on his part also as he's got his location on his sig line....and you NEVER KNOW who reads these things.

"Crap" will track you back home!

Ask them if they would pass several times for a couple days, soon the horses won't even take notice. Wink

Makes sense now, I didn't get to read the shooting part.

yes, I confess that the message has been edited. I'm not going to try to justify any actions that could have happened. It was icing on the cake for the traffic that goes by our farm at the rate of speed. We have tried working with the cops, they do what they can, but they can only do so much. The other day he had one pulled over for 53 in the 30, she told the cop she worked for my grandfather many years ago, he told her "then you should know what the speed limit is". Within the next few years we may move a few miles away to our other farm that has more open acreage, it's also on a far less busy road. The house there needs a lot of works (1800's) and there is no barn or out buildings.
