Up there? From your vantage point I'da thought Williams Lake would be 'down there' lol.
Seems to me I stayed in a pretty good hotel on the highway kinda looking down on the rodeo grounds..... I think it was a Super 8 but not sure. It's beside an outfit selling modular homes.
Those directions sound vague but once you're there it'll make sense. If you're coming into town on the highway from the south it's one of the first ones on the right.

| Silver is right, the Super 8 is the first hotel on the right coming in from the south. It's the best place to stay in town. But then if all you want is a cheap "cowboy hotel" stay on the main drag until you get just past the Ford dealer , there is a Sandman on the right and a Slumberlodge on the left.

| I booked a kitchenette at the Drummond Lake Lodge-that Sandman wasn't getting rave reviews and the others were booked up already for the finals. My daughters get a bit better accomodations than my boy lol.

| The online reviews for the Sandman were pretty funny-it's got those old pull down beds-musty carpets-dirty windows etc-just like some in my hometown.

LOL, it is not the best Sandman, but it will do....
I like the one in Quesnel.....So, I generally bypass the nights stay in Williams Lake..
