I bought the saddle outta Missouri about 5 yrs ago.
the seat,stirrup hobbles,latigo carrier etc are all stamped Buckaroo Sales Las Vegas NV...
I'm thinkin they moved shop or something.If you look at page 9 at the add for buckin rolls,the stamp on the saddle says Buckaroo Sales Las Vegas NV.
I had to blow up the picture to read it,but it's the same stamp in the same place as mine...
You got me wonderin now for sure...what I do know for certain is that it's a good rig and I like it fine.
HAY MAKER,if you like cantle I got an old california loop seat you'd like...enough cantle board for 2 saddles there...

| I make a bunch of saddles with a high (5") cantle. Doesn't seem to be a problem with the cantle hitting anyone in the back, or at least no one has complained about it. I think the next one I build for myself will have a 4.5 inch or 5".

Yes, I didn't explain that well  . I should have used the word "deep" instead of "hard" to explain the stop. The saddle I'm riding now has a higher cantle, 4 1/2", and I've noticed when my horse stops deep, or stops and turns deep, I sometimes smack my back on the cantle. It smarts  ! Maybe the pocket is a little too far back???
Anyhow, it's a great saddle for ranch work and riding long hours and so I really can't complain. My knees used to kill me after riding, and after riding five different saddles, I concluded it was my knees. I was wrong! I've not had sore knees once since I started riding this saddle .

We have tried saddles that 'bit' you in the back and we were
told that it is from the cantle being too straight up. The makers
need to slant them back just a bit, so that they don't 'bite'.
