Is the meat fit to eat and you ' cut & wrap" him or what???


What few times I've had a bear roast, etc.....it was like eating shoe leather!!!

Maybe it's just Southern bears.....the cook....or the moon phase but it was AWFUL!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

If we wouldn't of had to leave him over night we'd of cut some steaks and backstraps off him. They get pretty high if you leave them too long-I got a quote on a rug-probably a $1,000 bucks-YIKES. They charge by the foot the dirty buggers lol. Spring Bears have better coats but fall bears are better eating-it's pretty tasty stuff after eating berries and oats all summer.

So fall bears must taste berry good and spring bears taste barely good. Say what?
