Mine was a pic of Emily just after she scored a goal in novice hockey. She's wearing number 15 just like her big brother.

NR, you're pictures even cooler since you explained it.

Mine is the Airedale pup in the bottom picture that the Misses and I drove through some really terrible Wyoming icy roads so we could get her for our boy for Christmas....probably not smart. Thankfully, as she's gotten much bigger she's become an outdoor dog. I didn't even vote for her. LOL

Hey cal I know we do not always see eye to eye here but i gotta say....I like the tile work or is it a slate floor....the design is cool and the wide grout lines are something you do not see on floors often.....did you use a masons tooling bar or just trowel and sponge to lay the grout..I really like the way it is done,it is so different from alot of work you see in this area..

I noticed that floor too, nn. It is really sharp looking

And Cal, I found an Airdale pup once, in the middle of the street and it was raining out. I went and knocked on some doors to find the owners, without any luck. I took her home and we really fell for that dog. Finally the owner showed up and I really hated to give her back. I tried to get him to give her to us and I even offered to buy her, but no luck.

He didn't take care of her and after she was in the bad habit of running all over town, he came back and asked if we wanted her. But that was a year later and she had too many bad habits by then.

I sure did like that dog.

Thanks, that floor in the kitchen is Travertine. A local contractor, Scott Larson, cut the tiles up for the design and installed it, we're very happy with all the work he's done. I think he just used a trowel and sponge. He installed slate in the entryway off the garage, and although the colors are interesting, the stone is really rough and uneven...as it's supposed to be, but I really prefer the travertine.....no danger of breaking a toe on it. Very Happy

Too bad about that pup, Faster horses. They really are nice, loyal dogs given half a chance. My better half and I had one when we were first married, that unfortunately got kicked in the head by a horse and died, the same day our son was born. We always said that we'd get another one, but there really aren't any to be found around here. The sire of this pup, we were told, is one that is used on bear and cougar hunts, fwiw.
