Well....I have been looking for something dead broke that Sierra could build her confidence on (she's kind of a green rider) and something that I could rope off of until I got my two bay geldings going. "Hobby" is an older QH sorrell gelding that seemed to fit the bill. He's dead broke, been team roping and calf roping. The people that had him lost their pasture and needed him gone. It was a sacrafice sale....lol. I picked up a dead broke, Doc Bar bred, rope horse for a whole 600 bucks....lol. I threw out a low offer and they took it. I'm glad I've been a buyer lately....the horse market is in the crapper

Here is Hobby and Sierra

It is always fun to buy a good horse cheap. Smile Congratulations. He looks to be the perfect horse for both you and your daughter.

He's 16 and around 15 HH. The more I look at him the more I like him. He's got pretty good ground manners too. He loaded and stood in the trailer like he's done it a zillion times before. I guess "dead broke" is a funny saying eh........I'll say that he's "least likely to buck"...LOL
