What's really interestin about the dogs they use. They are trained by inmates. Worked by inmates. Fed by inmates. (all of which is done supervised of course by the TDCJ officers that are over that dept) But then when somethin like this happens, they get em out and go to work and do their jobs well.
It wasn't until Mr Lilly got home from work today that he told me for sure that it killed the horse also that the woman was on. They have a pretty amazing breedin program at their horse facility.
Saturday October 6th they are havin a horse sale. The second one ever. Not as many head this time, but I sure would like to go. We toured the horse breedin facility a couple years back. The man that was over it then was involved with 4H and set it up. They've got some real nice horses.

| I have been on several manhunts with the pack dog teams, as i handle a tracking dog for a local sheriffs dept.I found it odd, but even on an emergancy call-out, they arrive with thier usual dogs and horses, and also braught along a trustee to feed and water the dogs and horses. We left out on a search, and they just padlocked the trustee in the gooseneck with the spare dogs, and he layed down in some hay and went to sleep. I am confused about how the truck hit the officers horse, as I saw a photo of the truck at the crime scene and didnt see any damage to the front grill, they must have side swiped her. I wished we could run our prisons like 20 years ago, they would let they dogs stay on em until nothing was left.

| I haven't seen photos of any of the vehicles. First they stole a city truck (its the one they ran over her and her horse with) then they ditched it somewhere along the way, made their way into a bank and tried to rob it, then car jacked a woman there at the bank and took her vehicle. I'm not sure if hers was a car or truck. They then took off from there and made their way over by Walmart, bailed. One inmate gave it up then, the other ran and it was another 2 hours or so before he was found.
