It was an interesting blog for her, all of the ones about her visit to Chicago were a bit different... I can't help but say a few experiences with the homless in Evanston led me to have the not so compassionate few on them (Yes, I am on that experience the first hand a homelss guy trowing change at a friend who gave it to him because it was coins and not paper) but had some real great experiences as a kid working at a shelter and as a young adult working in downtown chicago so I guess I am torn... I do know we get some itneesting questions from my daughter when we visit the moe urban areas.. From the mouth of babes is one though that always crosses my mind.
