While enjoying some time at the river all of the sudden birds started going insane. We were sitting upstream from the bridge and my friend went to look and she saw a huge snake along the beams of the bridge. Soon adults and children gathered to watch and witness a birdie murder or snake lunch. Eww.

My nephews son who is staying with us did the same thing a while back. He hollered and when I got there, there was a large bull snake in the very top of the rafters of our shed, looking for lunch.

Nature is so wonderful isn't it? Smile

Amazes me how some idiots want nature only, to take care of things and don't want man to interfer. Then they don't like the way that nature does the job or worses yet, they haven't a clue. Like spiecies starving to death when they get too overpopulated. Or forests burning down when they grow too thick.

Nature isn't always pretty.

They turned some blackfooted ferrets loose in Wind Cave Park a short time back. We drove thru' the middle of the prairedog town there where they released them, on the fourth. Total devestation and destruction.

If a rancher did that to any of his ground they would be up in arms at the way we mistreated the land and were causing erosion, but as long as the idiots from government do it, it's supposed to be fine! Mad

Sorry for hijacking, but it just makes me sooooo mad!

Wow! That bullsnake!

I like to keep them around the ranch house and barn.....but I sure used to get mad when they'd tunnel under the chicken coop and steal eggs or chicks!
