Al's riding the 3 year old bronc, Kid, again today. I got a few pics this morning, while I wasn't having to hold on to Kid, to keep him from wandering away at a rapid rate......thought I'd share with ya'll!
Giving Kid the once-over with the curry comb......check out the dust flying!
Straightening the bottom saddle blanket
Then the top one
He finally got tired of having to catch Kid and take him back to the saddle shed, so got out the hobble rope and put on
Whew! Got the saddle on him, after chasing him halfway back to the house........that's Snip (full blood Cur) standing on the barrel behind him, with Half Pint, the goat, lying beside it, and one of the Rhode Island Red hens.......quite a menagerie in this one! Didn't notice until just a little while ago, that Kid's got a hump in his back. Hope Al takes a deep seat and keeps his mind in the middle today!

| Everything went fine, he said. Kid is still very green, and doesn't know what he's supposed to do yet, but he'll learn. Kid lost a front shoe on the way down the mountain, and thought he was pretty sore footed by the time they got to the corral with the cows, so I imagine he'll get a new shoe and a little time off next week.
