I dont share to much but wanted to share my new baby, she was born this morning about 6 A.M. and pics were taken at Noon. She surprised me with all the white...but again my old red mare gave me a Blue Roan out of my blue stud...and this one is tempting to keep around. Even after carrying her over for 2 weeks...

Mom said we are out of here....

LOL...well Greg I do feel lucky..did ya see she is wearing a pinky halter Wink ?? And ty Mrs Gregg..this mare does put some leg on her babies, but they fill out really nice. Andyep I use to have a few spotted ones running around till last summer. And hadnt totally settled on breeding her back to Blue, or a Smart Little Lena Stud ...of course there is the Black and White paint my friend just bought as well...but, thinking more towards the Smart Little Lena horse..he is cute and seems ole Bertha likes to put some white on her kids...sooo. Oh and now that I traded a breeding to a friend to Blue ...lol, I have the choice to breed to a Palomino son of Mr. Gunsmoke and g.son of Doc Olena. Tapping fingers on desk, and got till Thursday to decide. Okay back to studying I gooo...be glad when Thursday gets here, my last final and freedom for a few weeks.

Everyone have a Great Week!!

I'd go for the Mr. Gunsmoke. They are nice horses, really nice. Maybe not as cutting bred as the Lena's, but they are really sensible and work in a lot of events or just plain riding.

Let us know what you decide!

Well I have decided to go and breed her to the Smart Little Lena....to far to drive to the Gun Smoke and he will be there next year. This weekend my oldest is graduating from college so, that limits my driving time anywhere but to San Marcos Wink . I have more breedings now than I have mares lol. Might even pull up my old Leo mare and take her to the Gun Smoke...just hadnt wanted to put her through anymore, she is 25 now and I skipped breeding her last year...she just doesnt hold up as well now . Anyway there is my decision....and yea FH I do agree I do like the Gunsmoke Horses...Watched a few of them in the Cutting Futurity and they move sweet. Bertha is bred where I can just about go any direction with her..she is a bit big and her babies end up a little to big for the cutting ring, but they are athletic.

Anyway everyone have a GREAT HUMP DAY!!
