Some good heifers I bought a few years ago had a brand on their left hip that reads "EP". They came from southern Alberta if I'm not mistaken. They have made some of the best cows I have ever had. Not too big, excellent udders and thick calves.


Does anyone from out that way recognize that brand?

The EP ranch was Edward Prince of Wales ranch. The Cartwrights own it now I think.
Possibly you could check Livestock Inspection Services web site in Alberta and it could tell exactly.

Thanks BMr. I figured there would be a place a fella could go to find out.

Pictures? I am pretty unhandy when it comes to cameras and electronics. Maybe another day?
