So back to the point of the post: Is homosexuality a sin?
And if so, is it any worse than any other sin? There seems to be a few different sexual sins: adultery, lust, etc. Hate and anger are sins, too. |
In all of the posts I've read of stevec's, this is the first one that makes any sense to me.
The 10 command meant aren't on a sliding scale, really. All of those sins are bad and wrong.
But again, hate the sin, love the sinner. Point out one living person who hasn't sinned to me, please.

I haven't had anything to do with DIS but I just wonder, DIS, are you married? If so, I sure do feel sorry for the wonderful husband of yours, he has to be wonderful to stick around with you. You are mean.

Look at the title--This thread was created for the sole purpose of attacking her. And several people wandered in to oblige.
I can see where she might get a bit snarky...

Speaking of the Ten Commandments, many of us are repeatedly breaking the third. We don't even repent, much less never do it again... And that's a Commandment.

Thank you HMW. It needed saying. And kudos to those of you who I noticed did NOT jump in and indulge in gang meanness.

I could care less about anything a person like Dis, or you for that matter , says about me. I would certainly imagine a big girl like Dis could take it. Maybe a little sensitive girl might be offended but Dis can take it.

I just consider the source and don't hold ignorant people too a very high standard.

If you are going around looking for a reason to be offended for someone, be offended for Jinglebob in this post. I felt like it was over the line. We normally don't criticise each others family or their ambitions.

Who's "we"? Have you got a mouse in your pocket.
You feel it was over the line? ROTFLMAO!!
I didn't mention jimblebob's family at all. If she chooses to be offended, she'll have to choose to get over it.

In the first place, dis, it's JINGLEBOB. In the second place, I'm a him, not a her.
As for being offended, I expected no less from dis, so no, I wasn't offended, just saddened.
She is not the first, nor probably the last fool, I and my family have had to "suffer gentley" because of my eldest born sons calling. But thats ok, we can handle it. We've got broad shoulders and tuff' skin. Besides, I think jesus said something about "blessed are you who suffer because of me", or something to that effect.
But she better hope she don't get caught in a dark alley by the missus! Seems like that woman sets a lot of store in that boy. And she has a taser and knows how to use it!
Mamma can get a little rough when she gets her feathers ruffled!
