Nice deer what was the weight of that big boy? You don't see deer like that around here. This is all you can see around my place if you are lucky this is a big one.

Here's a pic shows his body size a bit better-I'd guess him around 300 on the hoof-he was just pigfat as the rut isn't really steamy yet. Jinglebob I doubt we'll get a full head mount as that is just a bit above average deer for up here-my wife is kind of making a stand against deer mounts in the house-I think there's a dozen or so already lol. He is a nice old buck though and Ty made a good shot on him-we might do a european mount on him though-he grossed 146. Our neighbor got a 215 nontypical last week-now that's SERIOUS boneage lol.

I have a European mount on my wall. It is just a rack and skull. Nothing else.
