the 4h group includes a batch of kids who are in the show cattle ring all the time, well one of the partners happens to be Randy Owen of Alabama fame.
he popped in to see how the Hereford cattle faired.
was kind of a treat to see him at the fair. he also helped raise some money for a building project they have going. |
Randy, his wife and daughter are good ambassadors for the cattle business, and the State of Alabama. Teddy Gentry - bass player for Alabama - is also in the grass fed beef promotions and is very well thought of too.
Glad to see they could help you out jigs. If they can entice one more kid to get interested in the cattle business they have been worthwhile.
