| Tommy- agree with your last post whole heartedly. Feel for our Canadian neighbors. Test 'em all and let the consumers and trade partners decide.

| As far as our Canadian neighbors, that $200 per head to winter their cows is about $200 more than any US rancher will get this year to winter his cows. |
I'll make you a deal. You give me back all the money I lost when the US illegally closed its border under the NAFTA agreement and you can have all those big cheques that I got from the government to help me through BSE. Deal?

| I find it humerous to see many (even Canadians) say "IF" BSE is found in the US. It is not a question of IF because it already has been found and the Japanese and many others know it. The question is WHEN will the next one be announced and WHEN will the first NATIVE born case be found. I think the USDA and those who will actually be making the decision on the border reopening believe that as well.

PPRM- My wife thru it together, with some help from Macon, while she was laid up after her hip replacement surgery-- Finally got it updated a little with the new colts- Going to try and take some to a horse sale in April, so needed to get them on the site......
You would not believe the people I've met from the site- even found relatives in Nevada and England that I didn't know existed.....

The local yards is putting together a horse sale April 21 after the McRae and Wittkop bull sales- I don't know what they'll get for consigments, but I took them in a list of at least 8 I'm selling- mostly 2003 and 2004 foals...
I've just lost all my help- all graduating and moving away... I used to keep 2 or 3 of each age to ride and that way had a little of everything around for sale- but any more with just me, a lot of times I can't keep them all worked......
I thought it was kind of fitting and ironic that she planned this sale at the same time as McRaes sale- since all my mares go back to an old Ross mare sired by Charley Duster, a stallion raised by Charlie McRae.......
