well nuthin like a get "R" dun attitude I suppose, this neighbor was out there at day break ? or sleepin in till the sale time ?
The cold weather like that aint beer drinkin weather, save the beer for these ole hot summer days and carry good whiskey when the weather turns cool
good luck |
Oh yeah the neighbor was there- and his hired hand, several neighbors, and even a couple game wardens that were there just having fun...And I had my bottle of good Canadian anti-freeze behind my seat
Its been a hectic week- as my sister and her husband have been up from Texas visiting- and then on Sat night my mother in law, who's been beenridden for months after a bleed in her brain, died... So we had family coming in from everywhere...And then on top of that- everyone is finally coming to the realization they won't get anymore for their calves and selling them- which has kept me busy with inspecting jobs....
Funeral was yesterday- and everyone will be gone by tomorrow so things might start getting back to normal.... Whatever that is....
I'd bought some registered heifers a week ago over the phone- but hadn't been able to get away to get them- but even got my daughter and SIL to volunteer to take my trailer and go down this weekend and get them for me...Only cost me gas and probably a shopping spree for the daughter in Billings |
That shopin spree might get a lil expensive, but what the hell.....you only go around once, let the ladies enjoy, sorry about your wifes mamma,my condolences, hope she was elderly and had a wonderful life...........what kinda heifers did you buy,no buyin going on around here, lots of sellin, this damned drought just wont quit, hope yall have a nice thanks givin OT,talk to yall tommorrow, bout time for an ole codger to head upstairs............good luck
