Instead of arguing about why manufacturing is going elsewhere, check out some of these estimates on the illiterate people in your state.
Also gives a breakdown on race and immigration into the states.
In the US 21-23% of adults( 16 and older) are at Level 1 (the lowest level of literacy.) Another article stated the US is 49th in world literacy, a sad, sad state of affairs.
