AAhhh, say it ain't so! What a nasty way to get a bit of time off. Now you will have to kick back and learn to relax or amuse yourself in other creative ways. Well maybe "kick back" was a poor choice of words . . . .

I hope you are not suffering too badly and here's wishes for a speedy recovery. Do take care of yourself - don't rush it.

Hey, I know what!! How bout we make you the "joke-of-the-day" person since you will likely get a little more computer time than usual? It will be up to you to find the best joke around and post it daily?

Here's to a speedy recovery with no complications.

Sad Oh My! Any chance the hubby will wait on you hand and foot?

If I were closer I'd sure pop in and help. Look after it,what the Dr. says goes, you'll be up alot faster lookin after it then continuing with your regular life. I know......easier said then done.

Thanks all,
I'm getting extremely bored, I hate being stuck in the house!! Tomorrow I get to go to town to get the staples out. I can't wait to get out of here even if its just for a couple of hours.
Mrs greg, I try to keep as independent as possible. He's gone most days thank goodness. I can't stand having him around and I hate the idea that I have to rely on him for awhile, but he's happy that he has me where he wants me. There were a lot of not nice things that happened that day that built up to top off the accident. Mad

Got the staples out on Wednesday. The Dr didn't recast it. The nurse just bandaged the incisions and wrapped a tension bandage around the right ankle. The Dr's intent was for me to use the 'walking boot thingy' that I had on my left foot on my right foot for support. With the swelling and tension bandage the boot is too small and the upright supports rub the incisions, so I have nothing on the worst broken ankle. Back to wearing my socks and slippers. I go back to see the surgeon on the 6th and we'll see what he has to say. Still no bearing weight on my right foot for at least 4 more weeks. I still have the wheelchair and walker to get around the house. I have crutches too, but I'm not likely coordinated enough to use them yet. I can still feel the weird effects from the anesthesia. Wonder when the lightheadedness and the weird floaty feeling will leave from that? Confused
Poor Brannah can't figure out why we're not going for our walks anymore Crying or Very sad .

There are days when that "floaty feeling" would be kinda welcome I think . . . . hahaha.

Laughing Yeah some days, but I'm getting quite tired of it. I'd rather be back to feeling normal again.
