The VP is the only conservative in this election. There is Two Liberals, One very Moderate and one Conservative. So why would the Conservatives not be excited about the VP pick?
You really need to learn the difference between, Democrats, Republicans, Liberals and Conservatives. Meshing them all together makes you sound uneducated such as fff.
Besides Palin is very new news on the election front. Of course she would be the talk of the town for a week or so. Calm down we will be back to talking about McCain and Obama very soon!

This was what I brought up in another thread- Palins one speach shes giving over and over- and the fact she only goes to rallys with McSame and not out on her own- while Obama is in one town, Biden another, Hillary another, Sebelius and several other governors in other sites promoting Obama- all at the same time......How long is it going to take to get her schooled and remade in McCains image- before they can let her off the tether
Also is it just me- or are many of these other Repub Govs, Senators, and politicians not enthusiastically hitting the trail for the McSame/Palin ticket... Just doesn't seem like much enthusiasm out there for their ticket...

Palin Avoids Free Media
Most candidates love getting free television time, especially long interviews where they can make their points at length and have the voters get to know them better. The Sunday talk shows are a favorite. Today John McCain will get a full half hour on CBS' Face the Nation, Barack Obama goes on ABC's This Week, and Joe Biden takes the hot seat at NBC's Meet the Press. Sarah Palin is avoiding free media when every network would love to have her. All it would take is one phone call to CNN, for example, and she'd be on there for half an hour, for free. This behavior gives the impressesion that the McCain campaign is afraid to have her interviewed in depth by experienced reporters for fear of what she might say. The problem is not gaffes--Biden makes them from time to time, but will still be grilled. The real problem is she might say something intentionally that she really and truly believes (like victims of rape should be forced to bear their rapist's child) and this will shock the viewers. It will be interesting to see how long Palin can avoid giving interviews and whether the media starts to point out this behavior.

OT, That is the point the left is missing. Sarah Palin is not your average candidate, She is like us. If I personally and publicly attacked you and your family the way the left wing media did her, and I asked you to do me a favor to help my business would you do it?
You would be spineless if you did, She knows there is 2 months for her popularity to spread, She does not need cnn or cbs to spread it. The media organizations that did not smear her will get all of the coverage they want you watch, Shawn

If Hillary would have kicked it into gear earlier in the campaign she would have beaten Obama. They were virtually tied, but McCain was the clear choice on the Rep ticket. After learning more about McCain and the trials and torture he survived during five years of imprisonment by the N Vietnamese POW camp, and how he gave up an opportunity to be sent home because there were others there that had been imprisoned longer than him, greatly increases my respect and admiration for him. He shouldn't be taken lightly, and has earned a great deal of respect and accomplishment that Obama hasn't even a clue about.

(CNN)– What does a campaign do when its new vice presidential candidate brings unprecedented energy to their candidate's crowds? They keep her with him longer.
A McCain campaign aide tells CNN the Alaska Governor will stay on the trail with McCain through early next week, instead of campaigning solo.
The McCain-Palin ticket is expected in Missouri Monday, and likely Ohio and Pennsylvania through Tuesday and maybe early Wednesday.
Campaign aides made it clear, the decision to keep Palin on the trail with the Republican nominee longer, also gives the campaign additional time hammer out details as to where and how to best deploy Palin when she does campaign on her own.
Plans were originally underway to send Palin to Florida solo early next week. Then that was scrapped and aides started working on a meet and greet event in the Philadelphia area Monday, with potential for a fundraising component. But those plans for Palins have now been abandoned as well.
Palin is expected to travel back to Alaska mid week through at least Friday, before her son, Track, who is enlisted in the Army is deployed to Iraq. In her convention address, Palin announced he's going on September 11.

Shawn, OT has personally and publicly attacked Sarah Palin and her family on here everyday since she was announced as VP candidate using 'cut and paste' from the left wing media propaganda.
If I was on fire, I wouldn't ask OT to throw water on me!

Poll: Only 4 in 10 Say Palin Has Enough Experience
Friday, September 5, 2008 2:30 PM
Just four in 10 say Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin has enough experience to be president, while nearly two-thirds say so about Joe Biden, her Democratic counterpart, a poll showed Friday.
Views of Palin largely reflect partisan loyalty and show she's having little initial impact on which presidential ticket people support, the ABC News survey showed.

Until your President knowone has experience if you were going to use years and experience as your only rule to judge McCain should be your pick.Truth of it is none of them have experience being president YET.
Last I checked she won't get to run for President for another 8 years after McCain's term is up.

nonothing, it's because of a concept you liberals have absolutely no grasp of...fair and balanced!!! I'm giving OT exactly what he is putting out...show me where I have attacked Obama on anything except the issues. The closest you can come is when I have referred to him as "The One"...which is his own concept and hardly believe using one's own words against them is a personal attack. If OT was respectful and referred to McCain by his name, instead of the left wing hate blog nicknames...stated his own opinion, instead of 'cut and paste' from the left wing hate blogs and the left wing, drive-by media...I wouldn't be responding as I do here(and anybody that has read me on the bull session knows that to be true...especially OT because I'm usually supportive of him over there).
The problem with liberals is that they are totally intolerant of conservative opinions.
Liberal Democrats want to do away with FREE SPEECH for talk radio!
You demonize the one news network,FOX, that dares to present real conservative opinion, BUT ALWAYS WITH LIBERAL OPINION TO BE FAIR AND BALANCED!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your loons disrupt every speech a conservative tries to make...again denying FREE SPEECH!!!!!
The disgraceful display of the mainstream media following Obama to Iraq shows there Democrat bias!!!
Where are the news stories about Iraq now that we are winning...every time a bomb went off, the drive-by media was there show American solders getting killed and wounded, but where are they now showing the successes???????????????
Yet you want to call the mainstream media accurate and unbiased...liberals are a joke!!!!!

I guess you also believe her last 10 years were dictated too? Even the mistakes the libs want to point out - lol even her daughter's pending marriage?
There is a lot to like about the lady. There are a few things I don't like. McCain had my vote in the first place. Now I merely will feel a bit better about voting for a liberal. It beats voting for a communist.
