This is a PHOTO CONTEST, not a critique forum.
While you can voice your opinions every place else on this forum,
I'd appreciate it if you left your opinion out of the Photo Contest.
Thanks for your co-operation.

Then You Need to Post This At The Head OF EVERY PHOTO CONTEST or in CONTEST RULES instead Of Letting Me or Others Make Make FOOLS of our selves
I thought this presented an opportunity to to show good and bad Brands before "New B" spent hard earned Money on Irons that Burn

#6 is mine. And yes it looks like a bad burn. But....it really ain't. We branded a small set of cows in the fall one year. Most years if the flys are bad, they are bad durin the summer. This was late October, early November when we branded. It was a warmer than normal winter, and we still had some flies. They attacked the brand sites so much so, that the brands looked black, and it took a long time for them to heal up. Really wasn't that many flys....but when they all congrigated in such a small area they done damage. Was really wierd, a few brands came out fine, but most of them had places on them that the flys just did a number on, and made them look splotched.
That's one of the reasons that we haven't branded anything in a long time.

Instead of BITCHing
Wasn't it better to "HELP EDUCATE" us all??
I almost said _
(A Cooler Iron) or Adding 1/8 to 1/4 inch between the Top of the "P" and the "O" when making this IRON would be a FIX (The Preferred Way)
I had an Iron _ The 'Pot Hook' "H" that would (burn)(Blotch) between top of the "H" and the Pot Hook Ω
Ω
H As close as I can come on the computer (The pothook was more like a Bar with a Hump in it... It is a nice Brand[/i]

No nerves hit here. I was just waitin until the end of the contest to explain what happened with this brand.
There's a good 3/4 inch between the top of the P and the circle. The flys eatin on it, are what made it all run together.
