Denny I know your not an R-Calfer but when you said "We couldn't buy it if you didn't want to sell it" works both ways. We are accused of selling cattle into the USA but we couldn't sell them if the USA didn't want to buy them. Guess trade is a two way street. Confused



I don't care where the beef comes from as long as it's safe and good.There are so few R-Calf members it is pathetic but everyone lumps all american's together.Put the products side byside on the shelf and let the consumer decide....I'm not scared to compete.Farmer's and Rancher's have been known to whine about everything I guess I'm not into Whineing if I don't like something I either do something about it or quit all together but I don't look for someone to save me from myself.

If your country men don't want to sell oil.lumber or beef don't but if you do label it and let the consumer decide.I am a firm believer in money talk's whoever can get the product on the store shelves the cheapest will sell the most if the products are equal quality.

As far as government decision's go the status quo is set by the urban areas more people = more votes..I bet it's the same in Canada.



Denny you obiviously don't know the facts on the large percentage of the cattle in the US that are owned by R-Calfers. The NCBA might boast to have more members but they are all hat and no cattle. As a diversified cattlemen and farmer I do not support the NCBA and I do not support supsidisied corn but at least when I grow corn the corn board supports me and when I grow cattle R-Calf supports me, I can't say the same about the NCBA.

Lets see those facts. It's probably not 5% of the US cattle owned by R-Calf members. Confused

Once you calculate in the cost of maintaining an Army 6000 miles from home, 4000+ dead American soldiers and countless wounded. Figure in all the cost of shipping oil from the Persian Gulf you are getting it for nothing. Haven't heard of too many suicide bombings in Grande Prairie, no IED attacks in Fort McMurray, no al-Quida strong holds in Medicine Hat. Not to mention the fact that you are doing business with people that think you are dirty infidals and are willing to kill you when your back is turned. The Saudia's must laugh their asses of at you Americans, they hijack your planes and fly them into skyscapers and you keep buying oil from them. That's what I mean by remembering who your friends are.
