Jassy,
Beauty! Appears to be a Golden Argiope or "Golden Garden Spider". I couldn't help but do the quick research. Looks menacing, but she's quite harmless.

Thanks...I was hoping someone would know what kind this spider was...I had no clue, I'd never seen one before, although hubby said he had...

| I do remember that picture Lilly now that you've posted it again...someone else here called it the zipper spider...doesn't matter how many names it has,,it's one "BIG & YELLOW" spider! lol
